Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of roles from vacancy briefing through to offer acceptance and onboarding.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Provide market insight talent mapping and recruitment advice to support informed hiring decisions.

  • Create engaging job adverts and candidate attraction campaigns across multiple sourcing channels.

  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through direct search networking and talent pooling activities.

  • Screen assess and shortlist candidates against role requirements competencies and cultural fit.

  • Coordinate and support interviews assessment activities and selection processes.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey maintaining regular communication and feedback.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

  • Work with hiring managers to reduce time-to-hire and improve recruitment efficiency.

  • Monitor recruitment performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.

  • Promote the organisations employer brand through recruitment campaigns networking events careers fairs and social media activity.

  • Support early careers graduate apprenticeship and internship programmes where applicable.

  • Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with employment legislation internal policies and diversity equity and inclusion principles.

  • Continuously review and improve recruitment processes tools and systems to enhance effectiveness and candidate experience.

  • Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to colleague.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent interviewing assessment and candidate evaluation capabilities.

  • Ability to influence and challenge hiring managers constructively.

  • Strong sourcing and direct search skills across multiple recruitment channels.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities.

  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities effectively.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.

  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse recruitment metrics and trends.

  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice employment legislation and inclusive hiring principles.

  • Proactive resilient and solutions-focused approach.

  • Ability to build credibility and trust with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Previous in-house recruitment or talent acquisition experience.

  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and UK employment legislation.

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience recruiting within financial services.

  • High level of organisation and able to meet deadlines.
