Tool Maker/Fitter Perm Role, £33k-£40k pa DOE, Days, 37hrs per week, Mon-Thurs, Overtime WETHERBY I am looking for an experienced Tool Maker/Fitter, with good knowledge of Conventional Engineering techniques, to work for an Engineering/Manufacturing company based in Wetherby. The business is commutable from York, Leeds or Harrogate and this is a great opportunity to join a busy and growing company. Required Experience: · Experienced tool room operative within the engineering sector · Excellent Manual Milling skills · TIG Welding knowledge would be beneficial · Grinding & Polishing experience · Capable of reading complex engineering drawings · Knowledge of Bridgeport XYZ Axis Milling Machine would be advantageous · Strong understanding of providing accuracy and quality · Ability to work to both independently and well within a team · Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards Other desired skills required include: · Manual Turning and Boring experience would be beneficial · Experience in Machining a wide range of specialist materials including Heavy Flame cut Structural Steels, High tensile steel, Aluminium, Brass, Bronze and Acetal · Experience of working to ISO9001:2015 · Ability to visually inspect work · C/B FLT License would be beneficial The core working hours for this role are ...
