Job description

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work within the Debt and Recovery Teams, taking responsibility for managing complex cases and supporting colleagues to maximise revenue for the Council. You will respond to service queries and handle complaints and enquiries within agreed deadlines, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

You will join a dedicated team, working with skilled managers to deliver an ambitious programme of change focused on continuous improvement and high-quality services, while providing strong leadership and direction.

This role offers hybrid working, with a mix of home and office-based work. You will have a contractual work base and attend as required, supported by technology that enables effective remote working and collaboration.

About the Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent service. You will have experience managing complex workloads, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive enquiries effectively.

You will be organised, able to meet deadlines, and confident supporting colleagues. A proactive and adaptable approach is essential, along with a strong commitment to teamwork and making a positive difference in an inclusive environment.
