Salary: £52,000 basic salary, with earning potential up to £58,600\n

\n Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced
Registered Manager to lead the reopening of a solo-bed children's residential home in NW1, London, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).\n
\n
\n This is an exciting opportunity for either an established Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the service, culture, and outcomes of the home from the outset.\n
\n
\n The Role You will be responsible for leading the reopening and registration of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and leadership are maintained.\n
\n
\n Working closely with staff, young people, and external professionals, you will create a positive and therapeutic environment that enables children and young people to achieve the best possible outcomes.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Lead the reopening and registration process of the home
\n - Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and children's home standards
\n - Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing staff team
\n - Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
\n - Maintain excellent safeguarding and quality assurance practices
\n - Build effective relationships with local authorities and partner agencies
\n - Develop a positive, nurturing, and therapeutic culture within the home
\n
Requirements\n
\n - Experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager seeking progression
\n - Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a senior leadership role within children's residential care
\n - Proven experience within EBD residential settings
\n - Good or Outstanding Ofsted track record
\n - Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
\n - Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification completed or working towards
\n - Strong safeguarding, leadership, and regulatory knowledge
\n - Ability to create and maintain a positive environment for young people
\n

\n - Basic salary of £52,000 per annum
\n - Earnings potential up to £58,600 through bonuses
\n - £3,000 annual car allowance or company car package worth £5,400
\n - Occupancy bonus of £300 per month
\n - 32 days annual leave including bank holidays
\n - Additional annual leave entitlement for each of the first three years of service
\n - Ofsted bonuses:\n
\n - £3,000 for Outstanding
\n - £1,500 for Good
\n
\n - On-call responsibilities included within salary
