Grounds Supervisor

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Grounds Supervisor to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, enjoys leading a team and is passionate about creating a safe, well-presented and fully functional environment for guests. As a supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of grounds and maintenance operations across the park.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is practical, organised and confident in managing workloads, supporting team members and ensuring all areas of the park are maintained to the highest standard.

This is a fixed term, full-time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day grounds operations across the park

• Lead, support and motivate the grounds team

• Plan and prioritise workloads to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently

• Carry out general grounds maintenance including grass cutting, landscaping and upkeep of outdoor areas

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment and outdoor spaces

• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures

• Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the park

• Support with stock control, ordering of materials and equipment

• Respond to maintenance issues and guest requests in a timely manner

• Assist with training and development of team members

About The Role

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a grounds, maintenance or facilities role

• Experience in a supervisory or team leader position is desirable

• Strong practical skills and knowledge of general maintenance tasks

• Good understanding of health & safety regulations

• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

• A proactive and flexible approach to work

• A positive attitude and commitment to high standards
