Product Life Cycle Manager PLM Manager – IT/Engineering £65-70k & Benefits Cambridgeshire / Hybrid / Flexible Sector – Defence / Aerospace The Engineering IT / PLM Manager is responsible for the ownership, management, optimisation and continuous improvement of Engineering IT systems, with a primary focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The role will provide business ownership and technical leadership for PLM capability, ensuring that the system supports Engineering delivery, configuration control, data management, CAD integration, reporting, process improvement and future business needs. The role will act as the key interface between Engineering, IT, PLM users, vendors and wider business stakeholders, ensuring that Engineering IT systems are fit for purpose, effectively supported, and alig to operational and strategic requirements. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE * Experience managing, supporting or administering PLM systems within an Engineering or manufacturing environment. * Experience working with Engineering teams using CAD and PLM tools. * Experience of PLM system configuration, administration, support and continuous improvement * * Experience supporting or managing data transfer between PLM and ERP platforms, including Cloud, covering parts, BoMs, documents, change data, lifecycle states and release- to-manufacturing processes. * Experience managing PLM-related incidents,...
