Role: Production and Filling Line Operative
\nLocation: Newhaven
\nHours: Initially Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 1:00pm
\nPay: £13.45 per hour AM shift
\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production and Filling Line Operative to join one of our longstanding clients, a busy manufacturing business, in Newhaven.
\n\nThis is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with experience in production, manufacturing, machine operating, filling line work, compounding, mixing, blending, packing or warehouse operations.

The Requirements:
\n- \n
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory work \n
- Good attention to detail and awareness of quality standards \n
- Flexible and proactive approach to work \n
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines \n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills \n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn \n
- Forklift experience beneficial but not essential \n
The Role:
\n- \n
- Carry out formulation and compounding duties \n
- Operate and monitor production machinery \n
- Work on the filling line, including cleaning down before new fragrances are filled \n
- Operate labelling machinery \n
- Complete end-of-line duties including weighing and strapping boxes \n
- Support stock control and quality checks \n
- Identify and report quality issues \n
- Keep the factory clean, organised and safe \n
- Clean spillages safely and promptly \n
- Operate a forklift and vacuum lifter once trained \n
