Assistant Marketing Manager - Events & Partnerships
The UK Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank by delivering fair outcomes for customers. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of brand marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that reinforce and strengthen the HSBC UK brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at market level.
Our Commercial Banking Business serves over a million customers across more than 50 markets, ranging from small enterprises focused primarily on their home markets, through to corporates operating across borders
This role is part of the HSBC UK marketing function and will support the Commercial Banking business deliver high quality events for customer and prospects.
The role of the Assistant Marketing Manager, Partnerships & Events is an exciting and varied role.
You will report into a Marketing Manager, Partnerships and Events and be responsible for supporting the delivery of customer events and partnerships.
In this role you will be:
- Supporting the delivery of partnerships and events, ensuring all events are delivered to a high standard, managed to budget and all contractual benefits are leveraged
- Provide support across the events team to help manage event budgets, comms and processes
- Help with the evaluation of the effectiveness of the events and sponsorships delivered
- Create event invitatons and manage the registration processes across multiple events
- On-site suport and delivery of events and partnerships
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience of working in a busy B2B events team
- Experience of supporting multiple events at any one time
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- A flexible and adaptable style with experience of developing yourself
- Abilit to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
