Job description
Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a high-achieving 11–18 mixed secondary school in Buckingham. The successful Physics Teacher will be expected to teach Physics across KS3 & KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position starting September 2026. The Science department is well-resourced, forward-thinking, and led by an approachable and supportive Head of Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physics Teacher to join a school with a strong academic culture and a clear focus on high achievement. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers, ECTs, and overseas-trained teachers holding a recognised teaching qualification. School Information This high-achieving and oversubscribed secondary school has an excellent reputation for academic success and pupil behaviour. The school has approximately 1,100 students on roll and consistently achieves strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes, particularly within the Sciences. The school promotes high expectations, outstanding behaviour for learning, and a supportive staff culture. We have worked closely with this school for several years and have successfully placed multiple teachers, all of whom have spoken very positively about the leadership, students, and professional environment. Experience and Qualifications • Physics Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable) • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE) • Passion for Physics and high standards of teaching and learning Application To be considered for this Physics Teacher position, please forward your CV as soon as possible.
