Economics Teacher - Prestigious Academy - Kingston Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • Economics Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level Economics (KS4/5) • Kingston • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full time or part time Economics Teacher Economics Teacher You would be working in a successful Business and Economics department teaching Economics at GCSE and A-Level. The department has a strong academic reputation and consistently achieves excellent outcomes across KS4 and KS5. Students are highly engaged within Economics and enjoy exploring real-world economic issues including inflation, global markets, government policy and international trade. Lessons are designed to develop analytical thinking, independent research and evaluative writing skills while encouraging students to apply theory to current affairs. The department works collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted intervention and enrichment opportunities. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to wider school life through enterprise events, revision programmes and extracurricular activities. The School provides excellent CPD provision, strong mentoring support for ECTs and clear progression pathways for experienced teachers. Staff wellbeing and professional development are highly valued across the school community.
