Your Day-to-Day Impact Exciting Opportunity to Inspire! Are you driven to support student success through meaningful workplace experiences? We’re looking for a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as a Work-Based Learning Assessor. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a vital part in interviewing prospective students, assessing their course suitability, and supporting them throughout their learning journey both in the workplace and within the college setting. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships with employers, sourcing valuable placements and ensuring they’re informed and engaged in learners’ progress. You'll support, train, and assess students, helping them meet their learning goals through timely portfolio monitoring, workshops, and comprehensive progress reviews. With a focus on quality, you’ll complete assessment paperwork to a high standard, attend standardisation meetings, and prepare evidence for internal and external verification. Your role is key in ensuring compliance with audit requirements and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. Experience of working with external or internal customers Experience of multi-tasking and co-ordinating a variety of activities Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and confident in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Inter/Intranet A successful track record of activity planning Experience or knowledge within Health and Social Care or Early years Industry Hold an assessor’s award or willing to work towards the Assessor award in Health and social care or early years.
