Position: Economics Teacher Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS5 Economics Teaching Role in an Independent School An independent school in Newcastle is seeking to appoint an Economics Teacher to join its department from September. About the Role You will teach Economics at Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support students in developing strong analytical and evaluative skills. Students will study core economic concepts including markets, inflation, unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy, international trade, and behavioural economics while developing confidence in essay writing, data interpretation, and independent research. You will prepare students for A-Level Economics examinations, supporting them in building confidence with economic theory, case studies, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively within a successful department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
