Job description
An exceptionally well-regarded secondary school in Bedfordshire is recruiting for a permanent Teacher of Music. This role involves delivering an engaging music curriculum across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 delivery. The successful candidate will foster a love for performance, composition, and music theory, while actively contributing to the school's thriving extracurricular music programme, including ensembles and seasonal concerts. The School Environment This is a productive and well-managed workplace where the arts are held in high regard. The music department is exceptionally well-resourced with modern technology suites and dedicated practice rooms. Student behaviour is exemplary, allowing for a creative, vibrant, and structured teaching atmosphere fully supported by a collaborative Creative Arts faculty. Requirements * Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Music or a related field. Essential: Previous experience delivering the UK Music curriculum at secondary level is a must. Essential: You must have the legal right to work in the UK. Key Details & Benefits * Contract: Full-time, Permanent. Salary Range: M1 – UPS3.
