Job description
A highly successful, high-achieving girls' secondary school in the Barnet (NW7) area is seeking a dedicated Teacher of RE for a permanent September appointment. This position involves delivering an academically rich Religious Education curriculum across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Humanities faculty that fosters critical thinking, philosophical debate, and a deep understanding of global faiths. The School Environment This is a structured, well-ordered, and welcoming educational environment where RE is highly valued across all key stages. Recent Ofsted feedback highlighted the school's inclusive atmosphere, exceptional SEND support, and vibrant student enrichment programs. Because student behaviour is exemplary and expectations are high, teachers are given the professional autonomy to focus entirely on subject mastery and high-quality classroom instruction. Requirements * Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related discipline. Essential: Previous experience teaching the UK RE curriculum up to GCSE and A-Level is a must. Essential: You must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is unavailable).
