Job Description

Overview

Want to shape and deliver some of the UK's most exciting buildings and property estate projects?

We're growing our Buildings & Places team across Oxford & Cambridge and are looking for an Associate Director in Project Management.

This is a key role for someone with a strong network in the Oxford / Cambridge market, who understands the local property and estates landscape and can use those relationships to unlock opportunities, build long-term client partnerships, and drive sustainable growth.

You'll be joining a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality outcomes across buildings and estate portfolios - with a real emphasis on creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.

Your role

You'll play a central role in delivering projects and growing our Buildings & Places offer across Oxford & Cambridge:
  • Lead the delivery of projects and programmes across buildings and property estates
  • Build and grow strong relationships with clients, particularly across estate-based portfolios
  • Use your local network to identify opportunities, develop relationships and win work in the region
  • Support the growth of our Oxford & Cambridge offices, helping to strengthen our presence in the local market
  • Contribute to the development of our Buildings & Places offering across estates, assets and portfolios
  • Foster a positive, collaborative working culture where people feel supported, engaged and motivated
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with governance, budgets and quality expectations
  • Manage commercial performance, risk and change throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide clear reporting on programme, quality, financial and KPI performance
  • Lead, mentor and develop teams across disciplines
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider business to drive joined-up growth

About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a clear market presence and a passion for working across buildings and estates:
  • MRICS or APM Chartered (or equivalent)
  • A strong, established network within the Oxford-Cambridge property and estates market
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships and win work locally
  • Experience delivering projects across buildings and/or estate portfolios
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business development
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys developing people and building strong teams
  • A genuine interest in contributing to a positive office culture and team environment
  • Good understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
  • Well organised, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes

Why this role

This is an opportunity to play a visible and influential role in shaping our Buildings & Places presence across Oxford & Cambridge - growing both our client base and our team.
