Job description
French Teacher - Independent School - Leeds Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • French Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level French (KS3/4/5) • Leeds • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full time or part time French Teacher French Teacher You would be working in a thriving Modern Foreign Languages department teaching French across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is highly supportive and focused on delivering engaging lessons that develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students are encouraged to develop fluency, cultural understanding and communication skills through an engaging and carefully sequenced curriculum. Lessons are interactive and designed to support students in becoming confident and independent language learners. The department has a strong track record of excellent outcomes and provides targeted support and intervention to ensure students of all abilities achieve excellent progress. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to language enrichment opportunities, cultural activities and overseas trips where appropriate. The School provides a supportive environment where staff are encouraged to share best practice and continue developing professionally. You will benefit from excellent CPD provision, mentoring support for ECTs and opportunities for career progression within the department and wider school community.
