Orion Group is supporting a successful and long established construction client to source a Pre-Construction Manager to add to there North East Scotland based team. As part of the pre-construction team the successful candidate will provide technical and operational expertise to the Bid Manager on all tender submissions. You will deliver competent solutions and technical submission details, on time, for all projects from inception stage through to tender submission and contract award. Ensure that the Company’s position is contractually protected, margin opportunities are maximised and company procedures and processes are fully adhered and complied with. Assisting with the financial/commercial and contractual control of project bids by ensuring that the best technical solutions are developed. Identify, mitigate manage and report risks in tenders that may affect the business. To provide support to the preconstruction team to deliver tender submissions including planning and bid management. To work in conjunction with the Regional Bid Manager in terms of issues that affects the preconstruction effectiveness of the business.
