Job description
You’re an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal who confidently manages a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions. You enjoy working closely with clients and pride yourself on delivering a personal service, but perhaps you’re starting to feel that genuine client relationships and meaningful contact are becoming harder to maintain in today’s fast-paced market. If that sounds familiar, this could be exactly the opportunity you’ve been looking for. This is a private practice where the client experience still truly matters. Yes, the firm is successful and busy, but they firmly believe that quality should never be sacrificed for volume. They don’t overload their team with unrealistic caseloads and instead give you the time and support needed to build strong relationships with your clients and do your job properly. Not only that, but you’ll also be based in what is arguably one of the most beautiful towns in East Lothian. Imagine spending your lunch break enjoying a stroll along the beach, browsing independent shops or relaxing in one of the lovely local cafés. In terms of what they’re looking for, they need a safe and experienced pair of hands,someone who can confidently manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages and title transfers. You’ll likely have a minimum of two years’ previous conveyancing experience, excellent client-facing skills and strong commercial awareness. Ideally, you’ll already be a qualified Paralegal, although they would also support someone keen to work towards qualification. The role is primarily office-based, although there may be the opportunity to work from home one day per week following a successful settling-in period.
