Job description
Amazon Books is looking for a talented customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager who is responsible for creating the earths greatest Books shopping experience pre-launch and post-launch in new emerging countries in MENA (e.g. AE SA EG SG). This new position will collaborate with local and global teams (tech and non-tech) to propose and pioneer a new operating model for managing at scale CX in new emerging countries. He/she will be responsible for the customer experience data quality for selection (e.g IDQ) and promotional/visibility activities.
The candidate should feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in an entrepreneurial environment. He/she should be able to break down complex problems and think creatively with a bias towards rolling up their sleeves.
The role reports to the Category Manager/Senior Vendor manager of MENA Emerging Countries and can be based flexibly across existing Amazon offices in MENA.

Key job responsibilities
Build the key pillar for ensuring the best CX for readers in new European locales in collaboration with Country and Books
Deliver a world class customer experience for local customers and innovate on their behalf
Manage end-to-end the CX through strong vendor relationships and internal stakeholders management
Be responsible for the following areas of business management: promotional campaigns product development and visibility activities on and off Amazon
Responsible of the CX roadmap for pre and post launches of new MPs in MENA.
With online content management team develop and execute collaborative marketing and promotions campaign for a wide variety of products across the category.
Improving customer experience by developing actionable insights based on customer feedback and developing creative strategies to increase reader experience
Attend trade shows and vendor meetings as required
Monitor and research industry and competitive trends to make the Amazon offering the best for the customer.


- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience with product cycles of 6 months
- Experience in product or program management product marketing business development or technology

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
