Agricultural Engineer
Agricultural Engineer - Worcestershire - £37,000 - £45,000 + Tools + Benefits
The Job
This role involves working for a specialist service and repair provider supporting self-propelled agricultural spraying equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Key duties include:
- Fault finding and repair of advanced agricultural machinery systems
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable performance
- Pre-season inspections and post-season overhauls
- Completion of accurate service reports, job cards, and documentation
- Providing technical guidance and on site support to customers when required
- Working occasional overtime during peak periods and covering approximately one weekend per month on a rota basis
The Candidate:
- Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
- Methodical and logical approach to diagnostics and repair
- Good communication skills for both customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to work
- Experience with agricultural or heavy mobile machinery
- Welding and fabrication skills would be an advantage
The Package:
- Salary £37,000 – £45,000+ per annum DOE
- Fully equipped service vehicle provided
- All specialist tools supplied

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
