ABOUT THE ROLES
We currently have two part-time Registered Nurse opportunities available across our Gold Coast sites.
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, you will provide the highest standard of care and service to our patients and Radiologists while supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Providing a high standard of care and service to patients, technical staff and Radiologists
• Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and followed
• Admission, monitoring and recovery of patients undergoing interventional procedures including biopsies, vascular access devices, pain management, stents and drainages
• Supporting procedures across multiple modalities including Ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine
• PICC line insertion (training provided)
• Working collaboratively across multiple Gold Coast locations as required
• Applying sound post-procedure care, recovery and discharge practices
• Participating in an on-call roster as required
ABOUT YOU
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
• IV Cannulation experience preferred
• Advanced Life Support preferred, but not essential
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionals
• Proven ability to work independently and contribute positively within a dynamic team
• Excellent personal presentation
• Previous surgical or radiology experience would be highly regarded
