The *Maintenance Manager *is responsible for creating and operating a viable and effective preventative maintenance programme for the whole site, including the building shell and surrounding grounds. *The Role* * Ensuring that all maintenance problems and queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively. * Guaranteeing that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and securely, and in line with company policies and procedures and current health and safety legislation. * Monitoring the basic fixtures and fittings of the building are maintained to the highest standards of order and tidiness at all times. * Adhering to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site, keeping up to date & accurate records. * Directly manages the club Maintenance Engineer and organises work rotations and individual assignments. * Managing the monthly budget for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the Club in collaboration with the General Manager and Operation Manager. * Acts as point of contact for all external technicians and companies. * Fulfilling Duty Shifts when required, therefore having responsibility and accountability during the shift, controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club. *Qualifications* * A technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher and 5 years' experience within a relevant sector. *Our Perks* * 30 days (including bank holidays) annual leave – and we want you take them * Access to The Peoples Pension, with our contributions at 3% * Complimentary Virgin Active membership for you and a buddy.
