Due to an internal restructure and several exciting new business wins, a growing integrated marketing agency is looking to recruit a Content & Social Media Manager to join its Manchester-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ideas-led content professional with strong B2B social media experience to join a collaborative agency environment where creativity, strategy and progression are genuinely valued.
The RoleThis is a content-first role with a strong focus on social media and audience engagement.
Working across a portfolio of B2B clients, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating and managing engaging content campaigns that build visibility, credibility and engagement across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering content and social media activity across multiple B2B accounts
- Developing content plans aligned to campaigns and client objectives
- Managing content calendars, scheduling and publishing activity
- Creating engaging content including:
- Social posts
- Blogs
- Case studies
- Campaign assets
- Repurposing PR, campaign and thought leadership content into new formats
- Managing community engagement and social interaction
- Supporting employee advocacy and LinkedIn-led content activity
- Monitoring campaign performance using analytics and GA4
- Working closely with PR, creative and account management teams
Candidate RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:
- Around 4+ years’ experience within content marketing, social media or B2B marketing
- Strong social-first content creation experience
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Experience managing social channels end-to-end
- Confidence adapting content across different formats and platforms
- Experience within a client-facing or fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Agency experience would be highly beneficial, although strong in-house B2B candidates will also be considered.
Desirable Experience- Paid social campaign exposure (LinkedIn or Meta)
- SEO or website content optimisation knowledge
- Employee advocacy or influencer-style programme experience
