Role Summary
The main objective of this role is to support our Import, Export and Customs Warehouse teams in data entry and admin tasks. This role will provide the opportunity to gain insight into customs compliance within our London Head Office.
What the Customs Admin Assistant will be doing:
- Maintaining import and export shipment logs
- Reporting to relevant buying teams on the accuracy of Purchase Orders due to arrive in UK
- Extracting reporting and distributing it to relevant team members in a timely manner
- Enriching product data in PLM software with information provided by senior team members
- Extracting copies of import and export declarations from various courier’s portals and logging them on relevant trackers
- Updating entry details once shipment has been processed by the customs warehouse team
- Archiving import declarations following delivery of goods
- Validating shipping documents for accuracy of information in line with purchase order data
- Providing import clearance instructions to Customs Brokers
- Maintaining tracker of e-commerce export shipments
- Any other admin tasks
