School Status and Location Sector: Prestigious Independent Secondary School Location: Leicester, Leicestershire Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing in September 2026 The Opportunity and School Profile An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Drama Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in Leicester with a strong reputation for excellence in the performing arts. Core Responsibilities and Teaching Scope Creative Arts Teaching: Deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities to teach A-Level Drama depending on experience. Performance and Production: Support students in devised performance work, script interpretation, and technical theatre elements, contributing to school productions and extracurricular activities. Student Development: Foster confidence, creativity, and communication skills through dynamic and inclusive teaching practices. Professional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues within the performing arts department to develop curriculum enrichment opportunities and maintain high academic standards. Compensation and Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be working towards QTS with a relevant degree in Drama or Performing Arts.
