The Department & Linguistic Culture You will join a high-performing MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) faculty where Spanish is a popular and high-attaining subject at both GCSE and A-Level. The department utilises an immersion-based pedagogy, prioritising target-language instruction to build authentic spontaneity and phonetic precision in students. As an "Outstanding" setting, we provide a digital-rich learning environment, incorporating specialised language software and authentic Hispanic media to enhance listening and cultural literacy. Core Responsibilities Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge Spanish lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for A-Level teaching for suitably qualified candidates. The Successful Candidate We are looking for a subject authority who is passionate about the cognitive and cultural benefits of language learning. Requirements include: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong honours degree in Spanish (or equivalent near-native fluency). Proven Track Record: Evidence of delivering exceptional learning outcomes at GCSE, with a deep understanding of AQA or Edexcel assessment objectives.
