Corporate Tax Manager | Abingdon | £58,000 - £64,000

An independent accountancy firm in Abingdon is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager into a senior, visible position within the tax team.
The role offers a strong blend of technical work, client interaction and team involvement, with exposure to a genuinely broad client base ranging from owner-managed businesses through to larger corporate groups and charities.
You'll be working closely with senior leadership on a mix of ongoing client matters and one-off projects including restructures, reconstructions, tax planning and wider advisory assignments.
What the role will involve:
* Managing a varied Corporate Tax portfolio * Reviewing complex compliance work * Delivering advisory projects across OMBs and corporate clients * Supporting junior staff development and reviewing work * Acting as a key point of contact for clients * Working closely with partners on technical matters and planning assignments * Supporting wider growth and development within the tax function

* Strong Corporate Tax experience gained within practice * Previous experience at Assistant Manager / Manager level * CTA qualified or equivalent * Someone commercially aware and confident dealing with clients directly * A technically capable individual who also fits well within a collaborative team
