Position: Production Operative / Palletising
Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, times 1630-0100
Pay: From £13.45 per hour, paid weekly
Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunity
About the Role:
Kenect Recruitment is looking for dedicated Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing facility specialising in sweet bakery products such as icing sugar, cake fillings, and dessert toppings. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced production environment with a supportive team on their back shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately according to batch instructions
Monitor and perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards
Pack, label, and prepare products for shipping and distribution
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area
Follow all health and safety, food safety, and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not essential; full training will be provided
Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting and moving stock - heavy lifting required
Ability to stay productive and focused in a busy, fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player with a positive attitude
