Job description
Are you a financial strategist with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a high-caliber School Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team of one of Solihull’s most respected secondary schools. This isn't just an administrative role; it is a pivotal leadership position where you will oversee a multi-million-pound budget, lead our dedicated support teams, and shape the long-term sustainability of our "Outstanding" learning environment. The Environment Join a workplace where professional trust is the default. We pride ourselves on a "human-first" leadership style—we work hard, but we value the person behind the professional. You’ll be managing a well-oiled machine with clear systems and a culture of mutual respect. Who You Are Essential: Significant previous experience as a School Business Manager or in a senior school-based operational role is a must. A seasoned professional with a background in Finance, HR, or Operations (CSBM/DSBM qualified preferred). A leader who can inspire an administrative team while maintaining a "common-sense" approach to problem-solving. Essential: You must have the Right to Work in the UK . Salary & Benefits Salary Range: £48,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience). Local Government Pension Scheme and a robust staff wellbeing package.
