In this specially designed building pupils have the opportunity to grow and develop with facilities specifically designed for younger children, but with the benefits of the resources of the attached secondary academy. There is a strong leadership team in place within the primary academy and staff and pupils enjoy a smaller, community atmosphere. There are good opportunities for professional development across the academy including teacher training so this is a great option for graduates and those looking to further their career in education.

All Graduate Teaching Assistant roles are offered on an academic year contract from September 2025 to July 2026. There will be opportunities after this contract for outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistants to continue with the school in to the following academic year to complete their initial teacher training via the paid SCITT programme.

If you would like to be considered for one of these roles, please apply ASAP with an up-to-date CV outlining your skills and experience.
