Who We Are:
We're one of the UK's largest health and social care charities, and we're proud to be pioneers in person-centred care. Our vision? Your Life, Your Choice. Our strategy? Best Lives Possible. And our vibe? Supportive, passionate, and always up for making a difference.

Whether you're new to care or a seasoned pro, we'll give you the tools, training, and TLC to thrive. Because when you go the extra mile for others, we go the extra mile for you.

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

Support Worker - Dalkeith

Full-Time (37.5 hours) | Driving Licence and own car required

Love karaoke, cats, and making people smile?

If you're the kind of person who brings good vibes wherever you go, we've got the perfect role for you!

We're on the lookout for Support Workers to join our award-winning charity just outside Dalkeith, supporting four brilliant gentlemen who live together in a cosy home near Dalkeith Country Park. They've faced challenges due to learning disabilities, Autism, and mental health-but they live life to the fullest and want someone who's ready to join the fun!

What they love:

  • Parties & dancing
  • Cinema & theatre trips
  • Coffee catch-ups & eating out
  • Karaoke (yes, you might need to sing!)
  • Their two adorable cats

Important stuff:

  • You'll need a UK driving licence and your own car (rural location)
  • Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings & occasional waking nights
  • Full training provided-no experience needed!

Your role includes:

  • Personal care & medication support
  • Cooking & helping around the house
  • Supporting hobbies, outings & daily routines
  • Being a friendly face and a reliable teammate

Why you'll love it here:

  • A supportive, diverse team
  • A job that's genuinely rewarding
  • Flexible hours (21-37.5/week + bank shifts)
  • Loads of laughs and meaningful moments

  • Shift Patterns:

7am-2:30pm | 9am-4:30pm | 2:30pm-9:30pm

Note: We are not currently recruiting for waking night shifts

Your values:

Got heart? You're halfway there.
At Community Integrated Care, we know it takes someone special to work in social care-and that doesn't always mean having experience. We hire based on values, welcoming people from all walks of life: seasoned support workers, those with lived experience, or even total newbies with a passion to care.

Curious about the role? Reach out to our Recruitment Specialist, Sarah Duncan, at [email protected].

If this sounds like your kind of job, hit 'Apply' and fill out our short form.

Need adjustments during the process? Just email [email protected].

We're proud to be an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident employer. Good luck-we can't wait to meet you!
