Job description
School Administrator - Good Ofsted Secondary School - Harrogate Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Administrator A Good Ofsted secondary school in Harrogate is seeking an organised and professional School Administrator to join their busy support staff team. This is a key role within the school, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of administrative systems and supporting effective communication across the wider school community. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to senior leaders, teaching staff and departments across the school. Responsibilities will include maintaining student records, handling correspondence, managing data systems, supporting attendance procedures and assisting with admissions administration where required. You will also support the front office and respond to enquiries from parents, visitors and external agencies in a professional and welcoming manner. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as the role requires the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks efficiently. The school is looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong IT knowledge and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative support team. Experience using school systems such as SIMS or Arbor would be advantageous.
