The Role: Position : Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Acute Care and Oncology) Location : Manchester Hours : Full-time, 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday - Part-time hours will also be considered Contract Type: Permanent Salary : Competitive (dependent on skills & experience) which includes late shift, on-call and weekend services allowance) Exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience to join the Pharmacy team at an outstanding‑rated service at the forefront of private cancer care. This senior role offers the chance to work in a highly specialist oncology setting, supporting safe and effective medicines use across inpatient, day care and outpatient services. You will play a key role in delivering and developing clinical pharmacy services for oncology and acute care patients, working closely with consultants, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will provide expert clinical pharmacy input, support medicines management systems and contribute to service development within a growing and ambitious pharmacy department. As a senior clinician, you will act as a role model within oncology pharmacy, providing supervision and contributing to the education of pharmacy, nursing and medical colleagues. Requirements MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy Registration with GPHC Additional postgraduate clinical qualification e.g. Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification Acute hospital experience (essential) Demonstratable experience in relevant clinical specialist area – e.g. Oncology and Acute Medicine (desirable) What We Offer: Approved and Trusted Supplier: Placing healthcare professionals in locum and permanent roles across leading healthcare systems such as the NHS and HSE, covering a wide range of settings and specialties.
