Maths Teacher - Mixed Secondary School - Waltham Forest Are you a hard-working, motivated and driven teacher who wants good support and career progression? • Maths Teacher Role • Teaching up to GCSE and A-Level Mathematics (KS3/4/5) • Waltham Forest • MPS1 – UPS3 Salary • Full time or part time Maths Teacher You would be working in a successful and ambitious Maths department teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is well-organised and collaborative, with teachers working closely together to ensure lessons are engaging, challenging and accessible for all students. Students are encouraged to develop confidence in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical thinking through a broad and carefully sequenced curriculum. The department has a strong focus on academic achievement and provides targeted support to ensure students make excellent progress. The school offers excellent facilities and resources to support teaching and learning, alongside strong behaviour systems and supportive leadership. Staff are encouraged to innovate within lessons and contribute positively to the wider school community. You will benefit from excellent CPD opportunities, mentoring support for ECTs and clear progression pathways for experienced teachers. Staff wellbeing and professional development are highly valued throughout the school.
