Brunch Host & Bottle Sales Jobs – Join The Philharmonic in Cardiff As our Brunch Host and Bottle Sales expert at The Philharmonic, you’ll be the person who greets every guest and sets the scene for memorable mornings and afternoons. You’ll help organise reservations, seat customers, and deliver exceptional service with a smile, especially during our popular Bottomless Brunch events. You’ll also play a vital role in bottle sales, guiding groups through VIP packages and helping create those Instagram-ready moments that make us the city’s go-to destination for celebrating. Main Responsibilities – Customer Experience, Table Host & VIP Bottle Service Welcome guests warmly at the entrance and manage the seating plan for a smooth and efficient brunch experience. Guide customers through food and drinks menus, offering recommendations and upselling brunch deals and bottle packages. Arrange and deliver bottle sales with flair, from presentation to personal touches like sparklers and celebratory extras. Liaise between the bar, kitchen, and floor teams to ensure every group’s needs are met quickly and accurately. Engage actively with guests to create a fun, inclusive, and friendly environment, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile. Assist in preparing and resetting the brunch area, keeping all spaces tidy and presentable at all times. Key Skills & Experience – What Makes a Brilliant Brunch Host/Hostess? No specialist experience needed – energy, great people skills, and a love of hospitality are most important. Confident communicator who makes everyone feel welcome, backed by a proactive and positive attitude. Comfortable multitasking in a busy, fast-paced venue where attention to detail is essential. Happy to work weekends, public holidays, and during major events (including festive periods and special brunches). Organised, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining outstanding standards of service for every guest. Pay, Hours & Benefits – Cardiff Hospitality Careers at The Philharmonic Competitive starting pay: £10.85 - £12.71 per hour plus tips, with opportunities to progress and earn more. Part-time hours mainly over weekends and key brunch service times, with occasional evening work for bottle events.
