  • Role : Practice Nurse * Location : Boston * Part-time roles available - 13 Hours * Self-employed contracts also available * Competitive salary / package, dependent on experience We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our established team and make a real difference in patient care. As a GP Practice Nurse, you will work within a GP practice delivering assessment, screening, and treatment services. You will provide advice to patients on general health and minor ailments, referring to GPs when necessary. You will also support pathology processes, including the collection, storage, and dispatch of specimens, and assist with administrative and professional duties, ensuring smooth practice operations. You will be part of a diverse, multi-skilled team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues, delivering high-quality, person-centred, and holistic care to patients registered with Omnes Healthcare practices. Key Responsibilities * Provide assessment, screening, and treatment services to patients * Advise patients on general healthcare and minor ailments, referring to GPs when appropriate * Collect, store, and dispatch pathological specimens in line with practice protocols * Support administrative and professional responsibilities, including QOF management and clinical audits * Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care Role Requirements * Current NMC registration * Proven experience as a Practice Nurse within primary care * Experience in managing QOF or specialized care, such as Diabetes or long-term condition management, is desirable * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team * Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care Who we are Omnes Healthcare is a growing, forward-thinking organisation delivering NHS Primary and Secondary Care services since 2006.
