Severe Teacher

Are you a qualified teacher with experience supporting children with severe and complex learning needs?

A specialist school in Ealing is recruiting a full-time Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of pupils with complex needs in a highly supportive environment.

The role will include:
• Planning and delivering tailored lessons for pupils with SLD and complex needs
• Adapting learning to meet a wide range of abilities and learning styles
• Supporting communication needs using visual aids, PECS, Makaton, and sensory approaches
• Managing a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents

To be successful, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SLD, PMLD, Autism, or complex SEND
• Strong behaviour management and adaptive teaching skills
• A patient, resilient, and creative approach to teaching
