History ECT – Inclusive School – Stockport (September Start) Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher eager to inspire students through historical enquiry and storytelling? • History ECT Role • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available) • Stockport • MPS1 Salary • Full time, permanent position This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to join a supportive Humanities faculty in a welcoming comprehensive school. You will deliver lessons that explore key historical events, themes and interpretations, encouraging students to think critically and develop strong analytical skills. The school provides a structured ECT programme with mentoring, reduced timetable and ongoing training. History ECT – School Information This is a friendly and inclusive mixed secondary school known for its strong pastoral care and positive student relationships. Staff are well supported, leadership is approachable, and there is a genuine focus on staff wellbeing and development. History ECT – Experience and Qualifications Degree in History or a related subject QTS (or working towards) Strong communication and classroom engagement skills Salary The salary for this History ECT position will be paid to scale on MPS1.
