Our company is looking for a kind and committed personal care assistant to help those who require help with everyday tasks. The ideal applicant will be dedicated to helping our customers live better lives by making sure they get care at home. The ability to follow care plans with a courteous and sympathetic demeanor, as well as excellent communication skills, are essential for this position. Duties Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed. Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Administer medication as per care plans and ensure proper documentation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including tidying living spaces. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Document daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately. Skills Driving licence is essential. Access to the car is essential. Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and team members. Understanding of care plans and ability to implement them accurately. Experience in home care or working within a care home environment is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and communication with healthcare providers. Ability to work independently while also being part of a team-oriented environment. This role is vital in providing high-quality personal care, ensuring that our clients feel valued, supported, and comfortable in their daily lives.
