Job description
Award-winning care starts with the people who deliver it. At GoodOaks, we’re an award-winning home care provider, and we’re known for supporting people properly, both the clients we care for and the people who work with us. We’re looking for a carer to join our team in Farnham , supporting clients across Farnham and the surrounding towns with high-quality visiting care. This is a part-time or full-time role, with flexible hours available to fit around other commitments. You don’t need experience to start. What matters is being reliable, kind, and willing to learn. What the role involves Visiting clients in their own homes Providing companionship and conversation Helping with day-to-day routines and household tasks Light housekeeping duties, like cleaning, dusting and laundry Preparing meals and running errands Supporting with personal care such as bathing and grooming Assisting with medication schedules and reminders Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities What you can expect from us Flexible hours, including day, evening and weekend work Paid training, a paid DBS check and paid mileage A supportive, straightforward management team Opportunities to develop and progress over time, with more senior roles filled from within Long service, employee of the month and referral bonus schemes Free Blue Light Card membership Your birthday off What we’re looking for A caring, dependable person with a good work ethic Someone who communicates well and treats people with respect Able to manage your time and work independently You’re committed to maintaining client dignity and confidentiality Physically able to support with household tasks and personal care A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check Right to work in the UK (we can’t offer sponsorship) No previous experience is required.
