Job description
I’m looking for a patient math tutor to help my high school student with algebra and geometry. We’re aiming to improve problem-solving skills, understanding of core concepts, and test readiness. The sessions should be engaging, with clear explanations and step-by-step solutions. Ideally, the tutor can assess gaps, provide practice worksheets, and assign light homework. We’d prefer in-person sessions at our home in the mornings or early afternoons, or online if travel is an issue. Flexible on number of sessions per week, but we’d like to start with 2 sessions per week and adjust as needed. Must be reliable and able to explain math in plain terms.
