Job description
Electrical Lecturer Full Time | Permanent Salary: £31,633 – £45,341 per annum Plus potential £5,000 Levelling Up Fund payment A respected and forward-thinking further education college group in Berkshire is looking to appoint an Electrical Lecturer to join their expanding Construction and Engineering provision. This is a predominantly teaching-focused role, based onsite at the college, delivering electrical installation courses to learners across further education programmes. The college is open to experienced lecturers as well as industry professionals looking to move into education for the first time. With excellent facilities, supportive leadership, and strong investment in technical education, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of electricians while developing your own teaching career. What will you be doing? Delivering engaging practical and theory-based electrical lessons onsite at the college Supporting learners to achieve qualifications and industry standards Preparing lesson materials and assessing learner progress Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Supporting students with employability and progression opportunities Who are we looking for? You will have: Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification 18th Edition qualification JIB Gold Card 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification AM2 qualification Strong industry experience within electrical installation It would also be advantageous to have: Previous teaching or training experience Teaching qualification Passion for supporting and developing learners What’s on offer? £31,633 – £45,341 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Free onsite parking Potential eligibility for the £5,000 Levelling Up Fund Supportive environment for new lecturers entering education Excellent staff development opportunities Next steps Once you've applied, one of our friendly further education consultants will give you a call to discuss this opportunity.
