Domain|Human Resource Management|Human Resources Company ITL UK Requisition ID 130135BR Work Location London Role: Unit Manager – HR Location: London, UK We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geo HR Specialist to oversee and support HR-related activities in the UK. The HR Manager will be responsible for the design and institutionalization of HR processes and ensuring all local HR compliance is achieved. Role and responsibilities * Actively contribute to the design, development, local implementation, and coordination of HR strategies, policies, and operations in partnership with business unit and regional leadership. * Evaluate challenges in the business and propose solutions to regional and corporate leadership. * Work closely with leadership, line managers, and employees to support business needs. * Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and workplace investigations. * Ensure company policies and HR practices comply with UK employment laws and regulations. * Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and proactively implement necessary updates. * Support audits, legal cases, and compliance-related matters, collaborating with legal teams when required. * Design employee engagement practices to create a positive work environment. * Recommend and deliver local solutions covering multiple areas of human resources including employee onboarding, local benefits, training, employee/labour relations, or other services. * Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as compensation, recruiting, payroll, organizational effectiveness, etc. Required * Bachelors/master’s degree in human resources or business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. * 10+ years of HR experience in the UK, ideally in an international matrix environment, with experience in Employee relations, UK employment law, Compensation & Benefits, HR compliance, and administration. * Proven experience in handling complex ER cases, grievances, and disciplinary matters. * Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships at all levels. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of professionalism.
