Aberdare Community School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reflective Teacher of Humanities (History and Geography) to join our passionate, values‑driven staff team from September 2026.

You will:
- Teach History and Geography across the age and ability range
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons rooted in strong subject knowledge
- Secure progress through inclusive, adaptive and reflective classroom practice
- Promote learner wellbeing, aspiration and positive behaviour for learning
- Contribute positively to the wider life, culture and values of the school
You will be:
- A committed and enthusiastic Humanities teacher (History and/or Geography)
- Passionate about your subject and its impact on young people
- Driven by inclusion, high expectations and moral purpose
- Reflective, collaborative and keen to develop professionally
- Newly Qualified Teachers and experienced teachers are very welcome to apply.
