Microbiology Locum Biomedical Scientist - London London Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology Banding: Band 6 Location: South East London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Core hours only We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join our private client’s team in South East London. This is a full‑time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well‑established laboratory service. Key Responsibilities You will perform culture, identification, and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens. You will detect bacterial infections using manual and automated techniques. Qualifications and Experience * HCPC registration * Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent * Experience in Microbiology within a clinical laboratory * Experience with culture and sensitivity testing * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities * NHS experience (preferred) Why Work with Pulse?
