Key Responsibilities * Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to. * Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery. * Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures. * Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development. * Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services. * Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive. * Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery. Essentials * GCSE grades 5-9/A-C. * Able to ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures. * Appropriate behaviour management. * Able to participate in child observations and assessments with a good understanding of child development. Great to have * Full and relevant level 2 in Early Years. * Food Hygiene Level 2. * FGM. * Safeguarding. * Paediatric First Aid.
