You’ll play a key part in ensuring every apprentice has an exceptional experience, from the moment they enquire, right through to the point they proudly achieve. About the Role * Lead the operational delivery of apprenticeships across multiple curriculum areas * Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, ESFA funding rules and awarding body requirements * Drive quality improvement through audits, learning walks, scrutiny and data analysis * Oversee learner progress, retention, attendance and employer engagement * Lead standardisation, CPD and team meetings to ensure consistently high performance * Prepare the department for audit, inspection and external quality assurance * Promote high expectations, a positive learning culture and disciplined environments * Support recruitment, onboarding and employer partnerships * Provide accurate reporting on performance, risk, compliance and improvement plans About You * A minimum Level 3 qualification (vocational or academic) * Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification * Assessor and IQA qualifications are desirable * Experience in managing apprenticeship provision, quality assurance and staff performance * A track record of delivering outstanding teaching & learning * Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills * A solution‑focused mindset and the ability to manage risk and drive improvement Rewards and Benefits at Hugh Baird College Why Join Hugh Baird College?
