Job description
Head of Science - UPS + TLRAre you a Head of Science or aspiring Head of Science looking for an opportunity to work closely with a progressive Headteacher who leads from the front and is the epitome of aspirational?If so, we need to talk – I love working with this school and leadership team as they never stand in the way of personal development and actively encourage students to think big. Science can play and huge part in this as it leads to so many career options so to lead in science in this school you need to be thinking ahead.You will be: -
  • Head of Science or aspiring Head of Science
  • QTS Science Teacher
  • In-depth curriculum knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology
  • Good leadership skills, to include sharing and working to a vision for the Science Department
  • Used to managing a teaching and learning team to successful outcomes
  • Confident developing the science curriculum and achieving good exam results
  • An exceptional communicator who can not only live but share the values of the school with staff, students, parents, and the community alike
  • Able to demonstrate a record of achievement in a high achieving school
