\nA growing and ambitious law firm is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Team Leader to join its Liverpool office.\n
\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and develop a team handling both pre- and post-litigated housing disrepair matters, while also managing their own caseload within a fast-paced and supportive environment.\n
\n
\nThe firm is looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent client care, achieving strong outcomes, and supporting the development of a high-performing team.\n

The Role\n
\n
\nYou will oversee and support a team of fee earners handling housing disrepair claims, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with client and business expectations.\n
\n
Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Managing team capacity and ensuring workloads are distributed effectively
    • \n
  • Supervising, motivating, and supporting team members through regular meetings and 1-2-1s
    • \n
  • Managing your own housing disrepair caseload from inception to conclusion
    • \n
  • Ensuring a consistently high standard of client service and legal advice
    • \n
  • Working towards departmental targets and performance objectives
    • \n
  • Supporting team development and promoting a positive working culture
    • \n
  • Maintaining compliance with CPR and relevant housing conditions case law
    • \n
  • Managing client expectations and ensuring matters progress efficiently
    • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Previous housing disrepair experience is essential
    • \n
  • Experience supervising or leading a team is advantageous
    • \n
  • Strong knowledge of CPR and housing conditions litigation
    • \n
  • Ability to manage a litigated caseload independently
    • \n
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills
    • \n
  • Target-driven with strong organisational skills
    • \n
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload
    • \n

  • Previous Personal Injury experience
