Job descriptionWe are seeking a Charity Fundraising Executive to join our Cash for Kids Team in Sheffield. This role requires an ambitious self‑starter with excellent communication and organisational skills, and prior experience in project or event management. You will build local relationships with businesses and community groups, organise and deliver fundraising events throughout the year, and project‑manage our annual Mission Christmas campaign in the South Yorkshire region. The role is based in Sheffield and requires you to work at home, from the office, and in the field. You must live in the South Yorkshire area, and be comfortable establishing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities * Assist the Regional Charity Manager with day‑to‑day running of the charity, performing key administrative and financial tasks (including banking procedures, recording all financial transactions, chasing outstanding donations) and assisting with the grant‑applications process. * Seek out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities and community groups. * Develop and build existing partnerships and maintain strong communication with fundraisers. * Plan and deliver our biggest campaign of the year – Mission Christmas, ensuring organisational, logistical and relationship skills are maximised. * Ensure Cash for Kids remains ‘front of mind’ and an integral part of the Bauer Media business locally. * Seek media partner and influencer partnership opportunities to raise Cash for Kids’ profile. * Keep the local Cash for Kids website and social media platforms updated with news stories and engaging content. * Be responsible for your own set of KPIs and delivery on financial targets. What we’re looking for * Organised, accurate and thorough with excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint). * Energetic, enthusiastic, confident, with a hands‑on approach and great work ethic. * Ability to work on your own initiative. * Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required. * Team player with excellent internal and external working relationships. * Passionate with a vision on unique qualities you can bring to the role. * Holder of a current, full clean UK driving licence. * Knowledgeable of social media platforms and able to use them effectively.
